Monroe County, in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce in Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, and the Lower Keys, invite all business owners and former business owners to complete a short survey. The survey results will identify additional actions to support the recovery of businesses and communitywide economic redevelopment.
As much as $40 million may be available to support economic recovery in the Florida Keys. The business survey will gather information about how the business community is recovering from the impacts of Hurricane Irma and what business recovery needs still exist.
The survey is available until May 27 at www.monroecounty-fl.gov/2019businesssurvey. It should take about 10 minutes to complete the 23-question survey.
The results of the survey will be discussed at a business and tourism recovery workshop tentatively scheduled for June 3 in Marathon. The workshop will be held to develop strategies for recovery and to preview the numerous State and Federal assistance programs available for business owners. Contact your local Chamber of Commerce for additional information or visit www.monroecounty-fl.gov/hurricaneirma for more information.
