[ARCHIVED] FDOT Public Information Meeting Notification

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six is developing the design for a drainage improvement project along SR 5/US 1/0verseas Highway from Caribbean Drive to Horace Street in Summerland Key, Monroe County. Construction is expected to begin in January 2014 and last about six months. The estimated construction
cost is $1 million. The public information meeting notification will be distributed to interested
parties and residents within 300 feet of the project corridor.

A public meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Big Pine Key Library, 213 Key Deer Boulevard, Big Pine Key, FL 33043.

The meeting will follow an informal format that allows the public to arrive at any time from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Graphic displays will be shown and FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
