The next lane closure phase of the North Roosevelt Reconstruction Project is about to begin:
The closure of outbound traffic lanes on North Roosevelt Boulevard from Kennedy Drive to the triangle at US Highway 1 is scheduled to begin on or about Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Traffic will now become 2 lanes inbound only on North Roosevelt Boulevard from the triangle (US 1) to First Street/Palm Avenue. Traffic will continue to be one lane in each direction from First St./Palm Avenue to Eisenhower Drive.
Once these lane closures are in place, all outbound traffic will be detoured onto South Roosevelt Boulevard to exit the island, or Flagler Avenue to return to business districts A and B.
Please note that this schedule may change due to many factors, and may begin as late as September 24, but be prepared for it to begin the middle or end of next week.
Please remember that traffic may now turn right onto US Highway 1 from the through lane on South Roosevelt Boulevard at the triangle.
We appreciate your cooperation during this project, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Schedule subject to change due to weather, etc.
