The Key West Writers Guild provides a friendly forum for authors to share their writings and receive encouraging and helpful feedback. The Guild obtains information about finding agents, the current publishing industry and markets for writing. Our many activities include: • An annual party. • Our second anthology, Voices from Key West, was just published and is available through members and at many locations throughout Key West. (The first, Key West and Beyond, was published in 2003.) • In collaboration with the Florida Keys Council on the Arts, the Guild presents an annual award to a writer with a book in progress. The Key West Writers Guild meets on the second and fourth Saturday of every month in the conference room at the Key West Public Library, Writers of essays, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, published and unpublished, are welcome. Bringing several copies of your planned reading would be helpful so that members may follow along on paper.

His flight has been cancelled due to bad weather, so he decides on other means of transport. As well as bad luck, Neal is blessed with the presence of Del Griffith (Candy), Shower Curtain Ring Salesman and all-around blabbermouth, who is never short of advice, conversation, bad jokes, or company. And when he decides that he is going the same direction as Neal….
